LA VENTANA / EL SARGENTO

La Ventana and El Sargento are two adjacent towns, located only 35 minutes south of the City of La Paz. This is a friendly community facing the Sea of Cortes and  Cerralvo Island.  This place was discovered 15 years ago mainly by kiteboarding and windsurfing aficionados.  Ever since, this place is becoming one top destination for watersports and tranquil living.

The community of La Ventana / El Sargento is a fascinating destination for the adventurous traveler.  You will be astonished by the beautiful scenery of El Sargento bay, Cerralvo Island and the surrounding environment comprising a variety of desert plants and the turquoise waters of the sea.

Travelers from the United States and Canada drive south through the Baja peninsula in their motor homes to stay through the winter in la Ventana / El Sargento. They come to practice windsurfing, kitesurfing and other sports.
